I clearly don't have enough sociopath in me, since I still can't understand how someone thinks that's ok. Maybe I need to start blaming my parents, the government and the school system for not teaching me correctly. :-/

I have here somewhere a discussion about this by a psychiatrist. He worked part time at a major Brit prison but refused to drive there. Several car thieves were likely released every day and it was not uncommon for them to steal a car for the drive home.

When he asked why they didn't consider the inconvenience they caused, they just shrugged and told him that the owners had insurance.

There is a picture of (Al Bundy guy) kneeling next to the torso of a curvy woman. I figure a one page lame story so click on it. Six pages of BS later I get bored and shut it down - I still have no idea who she was and by now don't give a shit.

I've fallen into this trap before with a juicy title, or something of interest (top 10 best cars springs to mind). The content each time is apparently written by a ten year old, full of BS and of no value to my life.

It pains me to think that this may be what some poor person ends up doing after getting a journalism degree.

Journalism as a topic is worthy of it's own rant as it is just what gets attention in a five minute period now days - heck it does not even need to be factual, just have a hint of something resembling a passing fact for it to be published.

between a shop and the car I droped my wallet a custom made $90 job (moto Guzzi) it has all my ID in it so theres no reason for it not to get handed in or me contacted... but NO... no fucking word of it in over a week, but heres the shitty bit that the cunt who decided they would keep it wouldn't have given a rats about...

need to get a new drivers licence... but need ID... well that was all in my wallet, could use my passport but thats expired, birth cert... shit that I haven't seen for over half a century... ohh well Ill get a replacement firearms licence... gota go to the cop shop for that and what ya know... they want ID FUCK... lucky the bobby tht came out says giday dangerous how are you.. I say mint you can ID me yip he said his words good enough just cough up 30 bucks... FUCK my bank cards all in the wallet... off to the bank... "got any ID" NOOOOOO, fuck yas... whats ya secrete bank pass word... "fucked if I know...

so still have no ID on me no licences bank card arived today tho YAY however I do have my replacment one card and New World club cad replaced... and a new wallet orderd...

I found a wallet on the road up in Hamner Springs some years back - I had my lad with me at the time who was saving up for a Playstation - the wallet contained drivers licence, credit cards etc etc plus over $400 in cash.

He passed comment that could buy a Playstation - fair point.

We handed it in to the local police station - they recorded my details and asked if they could be handed on to the thankful owner, then stated it was surprising to have wallets handed in with any cash in them.

All good someone got it back and their weekend was no doubt saved from the ruin it could have been.

The only thing that pissed me off was there was not one thank you at all from the owner. Cunt.

I have a no click bait policy, when a farcebook page starts posting that shit I fuck them right off.
What shits me is some of the older generation (even some of the younger generation which shits me even more) that share the shit like: "This kid has a rare skin disease please share 1 share = 1 prayer" with some fucked up poor kid on it.

New flash, that kids probably been grabbed off a random internet photo, is probably already dead and the posters are just trying to up their facebook profile so they can sell it to click bait wankers. Don't do it.

Similar thing happened to me, wallet got stolen, all cards, licence etc. I'll skip the part where the cops were totally uninterested in visiting the gas station where my paywave cards were used and the perps were on camera (the bank told me which gas station and provided the transaction info , the station manager looked at the security cam footage and agreed that the perps and their car could be identified but could not allow m to see it because of "privacy". )
Anyway, getting a new licence required a full birth certificate. That was the easiest part of the whole deal. Phone DIA, give them a few (easily) obtained family details, and its on the way. They were more concerned how I was going to pay for it.

That's a good policy. It took a while but I generally don't even consider them now: the Facebook ones, or those at the bottom of a newspaper web page.

Another minor annoyance is the teachers who post something on Facebook and request replies, presumably in the nature of a geography lesson. The sign they've made with the school name on it should also have a date so that you can identify what is current and what's not. If in doubt ignore.
