Sorry you lost me there. The complainants (the villagers) have withdrawn from the case. That may not be entirely unrelated to the fact that the insurgents being targeted have now admitted they were in the village, whereas previously the villagers had said they were not.

On TV last night the authors of the book expressed their disappointment that they were lied to. Of course. It may be that hearing what they wanted to hear made them unduly gullible.

The lawyer still thinks she's got a case, but she would wouldn't she.

You may not believe it but I'm just a bit surprised at all this, Hager usually does better.

I saw this on the news and was like WTF who believes these "villagers" and why would you just take their word for it with no other evidence?

Fuckers probably had a gun pointed to their head before being interviewed.

Well that's what the lawyer is hoping, but it's now clear the whole basis for the inquiry was false. I suppose we'll spend another million or so, just as well it's not real money, it's only taxes.
