We all know, or should know, that Trump doesn't like reading. That's a large part of why he's so ignorant. It turns out now that his teleprompter is loaded with phonetic spellings to make it easier for him.
He was addressing a crowd in Virginia and his prompter contained mention of George Wythe, an important historical figure. One of the signatories to the Declaration of Independence no less. So, as they do, in the teleprompter the name Wythe was spelled 'With' to give Trump a steer as to how to pronounce it correctly. So Trump read the name - and then he decided to wing it. He spelled out the name W-i-t-h. "An incredible name... an incredible name".
There was some murmering in the audience because they all knew the correct spelling. It wasn't one of his rallies, they don't know anything much.

That reminds me. Trump has reportedly phoned Putin and offered help with what are apparently major fires burning in Siberia.
Contrast that with his treatment of California: he abused them for not raking up the leaves in the forest, which is apparently where the phrase "forest management" lead to in his mind. When Californian politicians responded negatively, he threatened to cut off government money to California. If you were still in any doubt as to how stupid Trump is, that should be all you need to know.
California is a big net federal tax payer. It's the money from California and New York etc that keeps the southern broke arsed states afloat. If Trump stopped paying California, it would be reasonable for them to withhold their taxes, they'd be way ahead on the deal.

I was tempted at the time to put a bogus advert in the local paper here calling for volunteers to rake up the huge forests around these parts - I was going to call the exercise "Rake For Trump". Just to show people how absolutely absurd that suggestion really was. The amount of deciduous trees dropping leaves for winter here would make the task manifestly impossible. My American Fiancee said she did not want the attention and talked me out of it - dammit

Sure, the USA is guilty of tampering with countless countries elections. Maybe this is reaping what they have sown. What I'm finding is I find it amazing to watch this unbelievably blatant corruption playing out in plain sight now - before they have been a lot more stealthy - clearly no more. I do have a very good reason why I'm so hot on what is going on with Trump and the USA, but nothing I'm going to share online or even over a phone line. I'll be passing by you in a few weeks, will drop by and tell you why in person if the timing works out.
