NOT GUILTY: President Donald J. Trump ACQUITTED On Both Charges -
Just a reminder that Trump was found NO GUITY! of both Demonrat impeachment accusations.
An even more moronic post than the usual trumpist crap. If you're going to post pissed, learn where the spell-check is.
Now that the Republicans have said effectively that abuse of power isn't inpeachable, watch him go....
He's already robbed the military budget for more to build his wall - in order to show progress pre-election. Wonder how that's going to go down in the military ?
Now I see that having already failed to gut the clean energy initiative - the courts stopped that - he's simply withholding the money.
The US is fucked.
It must irk you a lot he wasn't found guilty ah? You poor dear. I suggest you see a doctor to get your stage 5 TDS sorted out.

Naturally you are right.
Bonez just makes his posts because he likes to imagine most posting in this thread are democratic snowflakes and that they are all using cleanex to soak up their tears.
He does not give the slightest shit about whether anything Trump does is legal or otherwise, just that somewhere in the World a leftie snowflake is melting![]()
Our crooks are better than their crooks! - seems reasonable for left/right wing political believers! -![]()
Twitter is full of outrage at Nancy tearing up the Idiot in Chief's SOTU speech. It's not the liberals who are snowflakes, it's the MAGAts, that's just so much more projection.
Matt Gaetz is even trying for a prosecution of Nancy for the crime of destroying an official document. A similar law exists in this country. If you look at the law as it's written he might have a point, but it normally relates to a document that doesn't exist anywhere else. There were copies of Trumps speech all over the place and it had just been on television for those with strong enough stomachs, her copy was surplus to requirements. Mind you, the way Moscow Mitch has been stacking the courts with shonky judges...

I was well aware he was not going to be found guilty. The only question was - how were the Republicans going to handle it ?
The answer is - poorly. No witnesses or testimony. No defence of the acts themselves. Only criticism of the process - which was laid down by the GOP when they impeached Clinton and was followed to the letter by the House managers. This Senate has staged the US first show trial - and they weren't very good at it.
My grasp of reality is I suggest better rooted in fact than yours. I've yet to see you or any of the trumpists on here come up with any sort of rational defence for his acts.
I do sometimes wonder what you and those like you in NZ would do if we saw the rise of a trump-like politician here. Nearest might be Brian Tamaki - would you support him ?
Most All those Rep senetors are standing in NovemberKenneth Starr, who as independent counsel was the tip of the spear in the impeachment of US president Bill Clinton, stood before the Senate on Monday and complained that impeachment has become over-used and weaponised.
As death-of-irony moments go, it would have been like Charlton Heston arguing against guns, Margaret Thatcher denouncing privatisation or Kim Kardashian suggesting fame is overrated.
In 1998, at Starr’s behest, Lewinsky was confronted in a hotel room by male officers and threatened with 27 years in prison unless she wore a wire and sealed the case against Clinton. That same year, when he decided to testify before the House judiciary committee, Starr’s ethics adviser Samuel Dash resigned and rebuked Starr: “You have violated your obligations under the independent counsel statute and have unlawfully intruded on the power of impeachment, which the constitution gives solely to the House.”
Senate Republicans made it pretty clear throughout this process that they were basically indifferent to the underlying question of what Trump did.
They listened with equanimity to Alan Dershowitz argue that there’s no such thing as abuse of power unless it violates specific statutes. But then they also didn’t care about a Government Accountability Office finding that holding up duly appropriated aid to Ukraine was illegal. They decided they didn’t want to hear from John Bolton, Mick Mulvaney, or anyone else with relevant information.
