    Feel sorry for the families of the cops shot up in West Aucklend - there's me thinking it was only dangerous in South Auckland but shit can happen anywhere I guess.

    They were the customary practice of the time for both groups.

    I lived in Ranfurly at the time. It was a surreal event, as was Aromoana which also happened while l lived down there. At the time it felt like the end of an age of innocence in NZ. Despite Stanley Graham.....
