Yep, did not see that coming. Her transition towards what is closer to truth has been an interesting one. My theory is her kids talked some sense into her and she saw how she was part of this left/right hatred machine carefully crafted by the ruling elite. Now the blinkers are off, she sees trump closer to the criminal he actually is. If the likes of MTG can come to see the light, there is still hope for TDL yet.

It was MTG's signature being one of the four Republicans forcing a vote on the Epstein files that brought things to a head with Trump publicly withdrawing support for her. She is sympathetic to Epstein's victims, she does not believe the US should be killing Venezuelan and Colombian fishermen or anybody else in small boats in the Caribbean, and she is opposed to Israel's genocide in Gaza. Additionally she has expressed general dissatisfaction with the state of the current US economy.

She did not advise the Speaker of the House or the White House of her impending resignation. Cool move.



In other unsurprising news, it is reported that the US peace plan for Ukraine was actually written by Putin. It is simply Putins wish list. No Nobel for Trump there. Trump has form for this, when Jared Kushner took his Middle East Peace Plan to Hamas they complained that it was simply Netanyahu's wish list.

US Secretary Of State, Marco Rubio was once a serious politician, a Senator and a former presidential candidate. He's not a serious anything much now.

There are three judges currently involved in various aspects of the Comey/James trials. It would seem the law favours the accused but there was a question as to whether the judges would be bold enough. The first ruling is in, the US Attorney filing the charges was unlawfully appointed, the charges are dismissed.

The rules covering US Attorneys are a bit complicated. When there is an election every US Attorney is supposed to offer their resignation in writing. The president can then replace or reappoint them at his pleasure. The appointments are then to be confirmed by the Senate. The president just gets one shot at each though, if his choice resigns or leaves for whatever reason the replacement is appointed by a panel of judges. The prosecutor involved resigned rather than take these cases so Trump appointed a replacement. He did not have the authority to do that and consequently she had no authority to prosecute anybody.

A little cheerful news on a rainy day? A federal appeals court has ordered Trump to pay a million dollars to Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and others. This for Trump and his lawyer Alina Habba bringing a spurious legal action against them relating to Russiagate. The money is to cover legal expenses incurred in their defence.

I recall Bill O'Reilly of FOX "News" interviewing a Democrat politician about Obamacare as it was passing through Congress and trying to corner him with a gotcha question. He kept asking if the politician had read the act before he voted on it. The Affordable Care Act ran to over 8,000 pages so it's probable nobody had read the entire document before they voted on it.

So with it only taking about 8,000 pages Trump should be able to envision doing a new healthcare plan in two weeks easily. If he has enough recreational chemicals of sufficient potency..

Trump's "peace plan" contained proposals for rebuilding Ukraine. Ukraine and Russia were to share the cost, the USA (Trump?) was to take fifty percent of the profits.
No investment, just a half share of the profit. Sounds like a Trump deal.
