right, back on topic for a sec.....

i just checked my various 'sources'

at this stage, the expectation is that it will start raining (on and off) tomorrow morning sometime and will continue for most of the day but will discontinue at some point on friday night and will a farking minta day right thru to at least mid-evening on saturday (sunday might be a bit average)

so we might get damp roads here and there but they will probably dry out as the day wears on and its doubtful that we will get wet at all

unfortunately the forecast as of this morning is looking a bit worse than it was previously - probably a bit damp in the morning and the afternoon (as in, we gonna get wet) and clear(ish) in between....will keep an eye on it
