I went for a great ride today (rostered off) and checked out some of those Western Roads up past the Marton Resevoir, Turakina Valley Rd (even a short stretch of gravel, but this was a shortcut), through some amazing country and into Hunterville and back via Vinegar Hill. Definitley must do the long version, some of the views of the Mountain are just superb!

May be coming to palmy fri nite so can catch up with you cowboyz & Al for cd passing out .. or on sat at manfeild ..

English might be bringing his new bike on sat .. picked it up today

so may be able to head out for a wee ride after

hmm good day for riding too hon ... was really tempted to bail work at lunchtime & head out for a bit .. but no I behaved

ill be staying out at himatangi on friday night, so not sure what time ill be up and about saturday morning yet, (got a nice shiraz and a half decent pinot noir to knock off) or what mrs yod is up to - but i can text you guys and catch up somewhere, weather is looking semi-promising

dont worry about a cd for me mate (but thanks anyway), i can nip out to cowboyz and take a copy of his at some stage

Are any of you guys and gals looking to going down to the Rappa sprints on the 30th Sep? Would make for a good ride and watch the event.

Yup am considering it .. be a good excuse to do the loop again

since its a sunday would look at doing it the reverse way ..

You dont get away with it that easy. Bring it with you and we can all sit on the side of the road and eat. Al can bring the coffee
