Likewise, I could supply a lamb for the spit (how big's that spit Jen) if I had the means of getting it there. Cheers.

Yup, looks like quite a load for the big red gravel express . Unfortunately our sleeping bags, tent & sleeping mats etc are all old = bulky. Modern, light, compact, quality, expensive stuff is in the budget for next years Brass but the $'s won't stretch that far at the moment espc just before xmas. We'll sort summat out 'cos we're gonna be there

I have been offered a ride as a pillion, but if it makes it easier with people I am willing to go up with my car. If this will help in any way with the logistics of getting stuff up then let me know...

Tidy!!!! Really only room for 1 animal to be cooked.. so I guess we need to decide what people would like best.. a pig.. or a lamb..

also the logistics of HOW to get said animal to the venue..

but then.. if linuxrunner does end up taking his car.. maybe said lamb could go in said car offered...

    what say you?????

I'm sure we can butcher it & get it to linuxrunner if lamb is the choice.

I'm in, I've added my name to the list. I'll head up Friday arvo and go for a day ride on the Sat.

You're both legends!!!!! Doc has sorted out a pig & freight (whadda legend too!!) & reckons a leg of mutton can be cooked inside the pig.. to keep it basted whilst being cooked!!

I'll get some pics of said spit when I am there in a couple of weeks.. & put them up, so you can see the size of it etc.

    Thanks guys!!!

All sounds pretty damn good to me!

Might take a few days extra off and do a liesurely trip there and back via different routes.

Just one last item to organise - making sure the weather is fine
