    fs-10

I am looking at getting one of these too. I started a thread before I found yours. Sounds like the only problem with them so far is fitting them on your head.

Did you get that funky nose gard and chin spoiler? I was wondering if it would still fit with a neck warmer that went over your nose?

The model I'm looking at is HJC FS-10 Infinity. TSS has two in plain black for $499. I'm told stock in NZ ran out fast when they hit the market and shops are waiting on a second run as well as new colours and grafics.

Yeah, stock did run out fast. I had one ordered from Motohaus, the L size black, but I have to wait till the start of next month to get it now. No worries here, they're upgrading it to the graphics one and throwing in an anti-fog visor for my troubles, so I'm more than stoaked at that !

Re. nose guard, it's detachable, not sure about chin spoiler.. Just don't be shy to jam it on, it really doesn't feel like it will fit untill you get your head in, then it's quite a comfortable helmet!

Yep nose gaurd and chin spoiler came with it, took the nose gaurd straight out, made me go cross eyed Now ive used the helmet a couple of times its great, still a little hard to get on but no problems when your wearing them The sunnies are awesome and its great to just flick them back up when the sun goes down
A little fogging but no more than my standard helmet
I did wonder if it was a little more noisey bet then i just got the new bike so could be that too and its been very windy here
I guess i was lucky just picked mine up off the shelf and said yep thatll do

Bloody loud noise the sun shield makes when it's retracted tho..... I bought a Shoei Multitec as I prefer wearing sunglasses.

Sounds like it's the helmet for me. I've been looking round the net and found a couple of other brands with the same (or similer) inbuilt sun viser. But this is the only one available in NZ stores.

I don't know bugger all about exchange rates but apparantly when it all went to ballocks recently you could import helmets for a fraction of the current instore prices. Couldn't find what I wanted though. I'll just save up for an Infinity.

Dosnt make any difference to noise levels if the sunnies are up or down
The sunnies retract inside the helmet so it dosnt interfere with the outside at all
May make a difference if the main clear shield is open but what helmet dosnt make a noise when the lid is up

I got a graphic Caberg V2 imported from the UK earlier this year. With the cost of import it worked out around $450. Best thing I ever did.

HJC did not have this on the market at the time so they must have seen the market possibilities and came out with their own version.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

Love it. The Caberg's visor comes right down to the nose guard so covers the whole face. The lever to operate is nice and handy on the top left of the clear so it is easy to flip it up and down. Great for when you move into shadows.

It sounds like the HJC version is sprung loaded so you press a button and it snaps back into the helmet. The Cayberg works manual via the lever which I think is fine. Less to go wrong. And if I only want to bring it down half way, I have that option.

The internal appears to be far enough away from the face that it wouldn't interfere with glasses. I'll try a pair of sunnies on with it and report back the findings.
