Well done Nighthawk. That goat looks like it may have had too much C&W or bagpipe music. They do make the pipes out of goat skin, don't they? Obviously the goat disposed of the cucumber.

Sounds like you guys and gals had a good time. I am sorry I was and still am stuck in Auckland.

I always seem to have an excuse not to be involved.

    Will try harder next time

Hmmm, I seem to remember we celebrated your birthday two years ago in fine style, with a ride to Lawrence, and a nice barbeque at Scumdog's. As I recall, it was another bloody awful day weatherwise, with an icy cold southerly blast. We seem to be fated...

Just to resurrect this birthday thread, the hot topic at the moment is the fifth birthday of KiwiBiker in October, with the plan of having simultaneous parties across NZ.

So far, there's celebrations being organised in the "three main centres", and we're of course invited to attend. It looks like SpankMe will be in Christchurch for the day.

Two options - we could make a group trip to Christchurch to join in, or we could do our thing here in the south.

My preference, we show 'em all how strong the KB spirit is in the south, and put on our own celebration to rival the rest.

Alternatively, the otago riders could try and outnumber the Christchurch riders in Christchurch.

Jeez, make a decision will ya...?

Okay, it looks like the preference is for a trip to Ch-ch - sounds good to me.

The West Coast option sounds appealing, although I'm sure the gravel riders would prefer a more "devious" route than the main State Highways.
