yuppers will definately be ready sunday ... started the old girl up today & fired on first kick. (whew) pretty knackkered to ride though so contented myself with making a new spot for her in the garage .. its a real tight squeeze

We're Back! Bloody brilliant. My post has vanished (as has everyone elses from the early hours of Monday), so to put it back on the agenda:
I am heading down to Welly on Saturday morning and are keen to take some back tracks on my way down, it'd be great if anyone would like to join me.

Planned route is over the track to Pahiatua, then either out to Alfreton, or the longer route out to Pongaroa (depending on group mood), then down 52 to Masterton, fill up, people who are still with me then out over the Gladstone Hill climb road (definately worth while if you haven't done it before), then down to Featherston, over the 'takas, and I'll continue on to Welly but anyone else can peel of and head over the Haywards and Paekok hill and head back up to Palmy.

I did originally say 8am start but I think a few people complained, in which case how about extending the time to 8.30 :-)? I don't want to be getting away late or I'll only be in welly for a few hours before coming home!

At this stage ill be joining you but ill let you know for definite tomorrow night

Yeah i'm in too, just depends if I drag my ass outta bed in time, i'll see what gets posted tonight. Can anyone let me know what the weather in Palmy is doing at the moment? I'm coming over to get the new tyres fitted and I would like to know should I wear my cordura jacket or can I wear leather?

Hi Sarge. Weather's not too bad at the moment. Nor Wester, a little damp, and you might get a bit of light rain through the gorge, but nothing serious. Dry in town.

Woohoo the weathers looking good for tomorrow so its all go Yep ill do the back roads as well I gotta see someone in Paraparaumu about thier kitchen on the way home but if it dosnt eventuate so be it ill go see them sunday
