If that biker had been rebuilding write-off bikes with dodgy welds that broke at high speed killing the riders ... if that biker had been pulling wheelies and stoppies on the motorways and killed a family of 4 ... if that biker was stopped and was carrying a 9mm automatic handgun in a holster which he pulled on police (as this guy did) ... none of those things are as bad as what this guy has done but they would NOT get much sympathy here.

Your comparisions are not even related or make sense. This was a bad ass guy ruining people's lives, intimidating them, using stand-over tactics, beating people up, possibly shooting them and doing it all for money. Take the time to read the reports about him ... and THEN judge. Have you no compassion for his victims and the terror and misery he has caused? How is it possible to degrade that suffering by feeling sorry for such a bad bad person.

To compare him to your average biker killed on the road is just winding up and argument for the sake of it.

Oh, and by the way, your PC is showing.

A: i never judge people, never have done. not my job to do so.

B: me PC? now i know its a true wind-up thread.

C: i was not comparing this person to anyone on here, see point A.

so when all the ANTI MOTORCYCLE groups say "oh well never mind its only a motorcylist dead, thats another one off the road so thats good" when one of us gets killed in an accident you are going to be happy about that are you?

    fucking hypocrites!
I don't think that is a fair comparison. Motorcyclists don't go out for a ride hoping to addict someone so they can take money of them. They don't go out for a ride hoping to crash and hurt someone.
You have answered your own question with the word áccident' (don't rush and edit it out now). The motorcyclist dies in your quote because of an accident e.g oil spill, too fast into a bend.... The drug dealer/convict didn't 'accidentally' make & sell drugs - Ooops, how did that $5000 cash fall from his hands into mine, as I accidentally dropped that P into his hands, that same addictive, family destroying P that I accidentally brewed up while trying to cook pea soup for tea. Nope, there is a difference.

Point missed Lee...nothing like a Mass Debate on a Monday...cheers mate, can always rely on you to get things going....

Questions i have asked and answered myself
Why did he die?.... cos he wasn't a smart as he thought he was!
How did he die?... rather quickley i would imagine
Did he need to die?... possibly not, but he did
Will he be missed?... by a select few... naturally
Is it up to us to decide the way he died is just?..... yeah i think so, we tax payers were after all... keeping him feed/housed etc etc

If NZ had a problem with dealers pushing heroin to get people hooked, or if a significant amount of crime in NZ was due caused by people on heroin then I might. Same with crack cocaine. But we don't and probably never will so it's not an issue in my book.

Your comparison is a bit weak. Here's a better one for you: Would you care if a gunman was shooting kids in a school and accidentally shot himself?

nope i wont be editing my post.

what i am saying is, which all of you seem to be missing (with the exception of graham) is the fact that you are laughing and joking about someone dyeing! that is why i made the comparison. it takes a sick kind of person to laugh at someones death!
like i said, if you can laugh at someones father/brother/uncle/son/grandson dyeing then wait until it happens to someone close to you and see how you like it.

it has also opened my eyes to how narrow minded and ignorant a lot of the posters on here are. i mean, did this mans grandmother know he was selling "P"? i doubt it, so he was someones loving grandson who is being laughed at in death.

some of the forum members here have teenage grandkids/sons/daughters dont they? do you know what your lovely grandson was doing on friday night? maybe he was selling "P"? or your granddaughter was selling herself on the street corner(ok slightly different again but the principle is the same)? would you suspect it of your grandkids? i doubt it. so if it came out that is what your "perfect" grandkids/children were doing any of the above and died as a result you would still be laughing?

what i do understand is that it takes some pretty sick people to laugh, make jokes, high 5, etc about an untimely death!

thats all i am saying! sick minded people who laugh at someone dying to me means that they are not of a good and sound mentality.
