Sound a bit like Manfield was the destination for people today

Knew the day was off to a bad start when I was passed by 2 guys on blinged up Harleys.
I was tootling along at 100kph keeping pace with the lad on his 250.

Got into Waipawa via Tiko etc, missed the turnoff to Patangata, did a slow speed turn to go back, wrong camber of road, usual poor Ducati turn lock, and down I go!
Couple of forward rolls down a bank. Cunt!
    How's the bike, more importantly!
Got off remarkably well considering it landed on the road.
Broken clutch lever, broken indicator, some scratches on the LH fairing lower, and a crack just behind the indicator mount on the fairing which is hard to spot.
Got it upright, fired it up no probs being injected, found the right road and off to the pub for a cold one.

Lots of bikes on the Patangata rd, area, mainly Harleys, and they never waved, so that made my day even worse.

Gave the bike a thrashing on the way home to pay it back for being bad.
Got all the scratches out off the fairing with cutting compound, fixed the indicator, so all I need is a clutch lever. Looks an expensive type being Italian, so not too bad a result all round I guess.

Sorry to read about your mishap Dooly, The Duke was looking so good earlier in the week.
Spent the weekend in Gisborne for a wedding, no not mine. Saw lots of bikes both directions & HP. Great day for riding on the Wairoa Road today.

    Im Shagged.
Had an awesome day today. Great ride down to manfield. Thats the way it should be. What we need is two people with a sign each. Saying "Road Closed" placed at either end of the Gorge so when we go thru it we can have it all to our selves.

Caught up with heaps of KBers. Sampled muffins, ate the last piece of cake needed sprinkles thou.

That was good racing today. You could tell when the spectaors were cheering the riders on (as if they could hear ya) Well done Paddy. I thought you did quite well.

Yep it was kinda comical in a way, entirely my fault, shit happens.
I'm fine, not an ache anywhere, decided to wear my armoured cordura jacket today instead of leather.
As much as your's was bad, I bet you're loving the end result = new bike!
