the only difference between this war and ww1/ww2, is that the internet allows us to see these 'forbidden' photos. it's rubbish they are forbidden - it's just that the general media chooses not to show us them.

this pic is interesting http://www.robert-fisk.com/illegalarrests9.jpg - 'illegal arrests'? how do we know that we are just not being subjected to propaganda like we were (and all fell for!) in this story from the last israel conflict >>> http://www.zombietime.com/fraud/ambulance/

the sad reality is, for the current situation, nothing.

teaching our own children tolerance and understanding though is a small way of possibly influencing future happenings.

That ambulance story was amazing - as soon as I saw the ambulance I thought "what a crock of shit"
Either the journalists who reported it were dumb-fucks who knew nothing about explosive/armaments or nothing about physics or didn't care. "Hey it's a great sotry, lets run with it - even if we end up with egg on our faces".

Or they thought their audience were as dumb
    Or both.

But boy, what a phony story - and the wrold fell for it!

I always thought reporters were unbiased and analytical! (Tuis moment here)

Dude, what have you done? My bullshitometer has just exploded - it is simply not designed to handle this sort of load.
And while you are at it, why don't you enlighten us about radioactive belt buckles and aids-causing polio vaccine?

We could pour our vast untapped economic resources into it (send the dole bludgers)!

Yes - look after those in our own back yard, start there. And when we're done (as if that's ever going to happen) we can consider what to do next.

Re pics being banned in the west???? eeeeeeeeerrrrrrrr... really? West of what? I mean - everything's West of something. Or do you mean they're allowed in the East - coz again - everything's East of something. I can see them so I must be East!

For those that have actually seen war... what's your view?
Do/could the general public in a far off land (i.e. NZ relative to the Middle East or wherever) ever actually stand a chance of discerning what goes on?

How do we know the truth when we hear it?

Yea, figured that, seen it on a few other forums. On one gun forum I was on, it was removed straight away, but the mods are pretty heavy on there.
