Believe it or not.. some tried... unsuccessfully...

    Wasn't the cake great!

And I didn't for one moment believe any of those scurrilous rumours...

The photos are great - but where are the captions?! From the comments I can work out some of them... Colapop is obviously the huggy one, Drew and Flame are blurry, Lissa is the bright spark... but who are the others?

As noted in another thread, I went along to the Auckland bash expecting to meet real people and put names to faces but it was a bit of a fizzer. So at least let me join the Welly party by proxy!

Yes and it was nice to see you down our way too after reading a number of your posts but having never met before though I had met your lovely husband.

Ditto! I'm stoked we went to Wellington because there's some neat people down there.

I'm very glad to hear it.

As I said, they're hardly credible, really. I wouldn't worry about them overmuch.

Well folks, I certainly enjoyed myself tremenduously in Wellie!

What an awesome bunch of people...

Firtsly, a big thanks (again) to the Kendogs for putting up with me...You two are just the best!

Colapop, my dear brother, please break the news gently to Nick... And I'm glad you were so gentle, my ribs are feeling just fine!!!! I'm not so sure about 007XY's though..

Skunk...what can I say? You lived up to your monicker... And how's the shoulder, hope it's not too bruised! Mrs Skunk just rocks...

AJTurbo, you are one crazy man, and that's a bloody good thing! Who will get to go on Christine next, I wonder?

Master Hitcher, you are as interesting as I thought you would be and it was awesome to meet you and Mrs Hitcher...

Flame, great chatting with you, and will definitely want to keep in touch (in hopefully the near future) about that 675! You have tempted me enormously, and I agree with you, I'd rather stick with a European bike...

Ocean1, a real pleasure to meet you too...

Many more to say hi to and how much I enjoyed everyone's company, you guys all rocked. Thank you all for making me feel welcome!

I'm just really sorry I didn't get to spend more time with everyone...Me thinks this will call for another trip down the line at some stsge in the future!
