    YES!
After a bit of trial and error i found his password.
The Man has 2 kids at school, a mortgage that never seems to reduce , a bloody v8 car that sucks gas like you wouldn't believe, and now he is talking about trading in a perfectly good 2 year old bike for a brand new one.
I mentioned a holiday on the Gold Coast with the kids 2 months ago and got told it was to expensive.
What do I have to do to get some sense into his thick head?
He will be absolutly pissed off when he sees this little bit of female input.
I was supposed to be eternally gratefull, that he purchased me a cheap white helmet 2 years ago, so i could freeze my way around the country sitting behind him ,looking at his 'top of the line helmet'.
(I went for 1 ride only)
Bet i know who will be doing a password change soon.
Ride carefully you guys, their are probably partners or parents who worry like hell every time you take those stupid bloody motor bikes out of the shed.
Too angry to do a spell check.
I still love you tho Blindspot

I maybe can offer some assistance to you in getting your head around the hubby riding thing while you are pregnant/home with babies thing. My first transport was a bike......married a biker. Lived, slept, rode bikes for many years. We owned a shop, he raced track when I met him, moto cross later. We both rode, until my first baby was well on the way. Then I stopped riding, he didnt! I used to stress too, when he was out and about until some wise person gave me this advice.... When you were both riding did he really hurt himself?......(well not really, odd wrist broken, leather burns etc).

What makes you think anything will change now you are not along in person?
(Ummmm, nothing really), had to be my answer. In fact, the more I thought about it the more I realised that in fact he was more likely to take care now he had children to look after.

You are just in a different place for the now. The bike thing can and will wait till you can get back!

    Cheers mom,
I deleted my original post cos I wasn't sure if this thread was a crock. Yea hubby has agreed not to ride until after the baby is born which is a great compromise I reakon. yea we do off road as well and as for riding together he has had accidents (NONE of which were his fault) so its all the other nobs on the road I worry about. and while i'm preg I hang out to ride again so it will never leave me either (at least I hope it doesnt -survival instinct and all that now I have a child to think about)

I think it's about time we all found out whether Blindspot pulled a very well-executed prank, or whether he's married to a fair dinkum bitch troll from hell.

Come on, dude, spill the beans.

You'll have our very genuine sympathy if your wife did, in fact, post that shit.

Come On guys I think everybody has over reacted just a tad.

My wife doesn't ride and can relate to most of what BlindSpots missus has said.

They do worry every time that we go for a ride and they are relieved everytime that we come back. BUT they do let us go even the "horrible" mrs blindspot doesn't stop him riding.

And come on this guy has financial responsibilities I think ANOTHER new bike after just 2yrs is a bit frivoulous.

I can also understand about the holiday thing being "expensive" it a lot of money for a week at least if you spent it on a bike you'd still have it in 2 years. But hey as others have said life is about compromises and a Happy Wife = Happy Life.

This has been the best post I've read in ages - troll or not

.... back in green and feeling great ....

The woman nicked her husband's personal logon to an internet forum (some people, myself included, like to have their personal privacy respected) and, in public, called him thick and told everyone about his financial situation, as well as speaking of 'stupid bloody motorbikes' to people he associates with purely for the shared love of motorcycling.

Tony Soprano would call that "getting one's balls busted".

It takes a bitch to bust a guy's balls.

Not to have a problem with a guy's motorcycling, or his financial decisions, mind you. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about what she did here.

(If, in fact, the post isn't a practical joke.)

Which are none of our business.

Imagine if that was you, having your personal circumstances plastered up on the internet for the whole world to read.

How would you feel about that?

Hell yeah, I had a laugh when I first read it and took it in good humour, then all the little KB "drama queens" started chirping in as usual turning it into a huge issue that threatens world peace.

Just because something's on the internet doesn't mean it can't be real.

If the guy's wife stomped into a room we were all in and yelled the contents of that post at us, it'd be incredibly fucking awkward, and you would undoubtedly be muttering about what an odd and unpleasant person she was for a while after the fact.

Blindspot's continuing absence from this thread is starting to make me wonder whether it was not, in fact, a joke.

Miss Vicki is keen on House and garden and artistic pursuits… I’m less than keen on these things – yet – when one has a young family, little time and less cash, the art of compromise needs to be mastered..

In every habitation I have provided a garden (of sorts) and tended it enthusiastically. In every garage we have owned, we have had a motorcycle (of sorts) and Vicki has approached this enthusiastically. Out of habit I use a humble and fuel efficient vehicle while Vicki uses the nicer vehicle - yet there are motorcycles for me to use - it balances…

After 27 years of church and state sanctioned union and longer of the non official sort… much to our amazement, I’m actually rather keen on the garden (to the point where I’m perfectly happy digging rather than riding some days) and Vicki is very interested in motorcycles (to the point where she will walk past a weed to get onto a bike)….

Sometimes – a little investment in selflessness provides a magnificent return over time. Certainly I’m a happy investor – let’s face it. There will be a new bike on the floor next season, and the season after that and the season after that…. Relationships are not to be taken so much for granted, once damaged there is no guarantee there will be a next season… Choices eh – we all make em every day and we have to live with em as well…
