How far do they think you have to go to make a longest day run?

RnR is the rangiora riders club

the mak is on the chch side of the old waimak bridge - its the pub on the right heading towards kaipoi

they have a poker run for the longest and shortest days of the year. its not about the longest ride in a day. i think last time i went on the longest day poker run it went to kaikoura. had to head back home then so not sure if they went any further north

    More information please?

As this seems to be in my neighbourhood,
It might be a better choice than the day befores BBQ
But then the depends on how soon I can find out what , where , etc
I could be greedy and do both days

    So Please tell me more!!

    lol, yes but....
I just been looking at photos from their shortist day ride and have to say I like the way they ride as a group on a group ride instead of riding solo and then regrouping as we seem to end up doing. Also had a little chuckle that they photographed themselves on the wrong side of the yellow no passing line, then again I bet a lot of us would do it too..
    Here's the pics.

Well the few longest day runs I've done with these boys have been a fair distance, one year remember doing the block, and unlike the Hog club they don't fark around. Generally A good fun day!!. ...But im workin on sat and bike is still in bits at the mo, awaiting a injection of $$.
