Auckland sounds like a good ride. We did Hamilton and back last weekend. Was great.
That is a nice trip you and Rob did. I recon it is one of the best. Wish they would seal the road to the light house. Bet it isn't on the must do plan

Like so many the work load is so big at this time of the year it is hard to find the time. And for me,after a day in the woolshed, I struggle to stay awake for dinner let alone go out. Yes I know........... Gettin old............

Must be five years since I was up there and the food was good. The beer wasn't too expensive. Mind you after a day on the bike in 30+ deg and a few beers who would know.

Some of the best sets of corners in New Zealand -- and no traffic! Large chunks of this had just been resealed when we were through there in October, so I couldn't cane it as much as I would have liked. The stretch from Te Araroa to Te Kaha isn't too shabby either!
