everyone who has kept an eye on the thread so far knows where we are going

from ashhurst doing apiti loop, turn right on to kimbolton road .. turn left at prebbleton out to ohiniti (however that is spelt) down to hunterville for lunch/fuel ..
& I hear you know this route very well since you showed the crew the other week ..

& I know the route after lunch .. kinda .. but it will depend on time & how the riders are feeling ..

Was wondering if you were doing that one or Vinegar hill. If you take a right onto the road just past the golfclub out of Ohingiti that road is nice and runs almost all the way to Huntervillle. Its the one Simpsons reserve is on.

Personally if you going to Hunterville I would have thought Vinegar hill would be a better choice with a stop at Stormy Point. That other road has alot of long and straight at the start and is more suited to getting to Mangaweka.

Bummer, you could always text Chanceyy and meet them somewhere and do half the ride.

I saw you! it was me in the black car that tooted madly at you when you were stopped on SH1 somewhere around Hunterville. Had a few cars up my bumper ( not to mention the caravans and campers I had just passed...) so didnt want to stop right there.

good ride today. Actually great ride today. Plenty of chances to put on some pace without newbies being left behind. Had a couple of photo sessions which are in the link in my sig. Got some good ones too. Only shame about the cornering photos was the group was a little close together and my camera takes some time to click over to take the next photo so only got a few of the riders.

I even got to give a tosser in a car a serve up which was fun. Ill let Yod or Meanie tell the story but rest assured that he is in serious need of some new underdaks.

Nearly all men can stand adversity and hard time, but if you want to test a mans true character, give him power....

Thanks guys, I had a really good time. My first group ride and I was MOST impressed how safe and well organised it was!

Thanks to the guy who helped out my friend when he battery died.

And to the obviously very experienced riders who reined in the horses and took the time to do something like this for the newbies... wow.... HUGE respect!!!

Well another awesome day on my bike.
Great to meet some more new faces and see others again.

Thanks Chanceyy for organising such a great ride.

Felt heaps more confident today. Great roads, and great company.

Looking forward to Friday....hehe. Sounds like Chanceyy is going to introduce me to the Pahiatua Track..... I am sure it will be all good, still coming to grips with cornering while going downhill.
