Thumbs up For Sale: 1985 Honda VT250F

I am selling my beloved 1985 Honda VT250F so that I can hopefully buy a 1990 ZXR250. I'm looking for atleast $1000. This is kinda like an auction with $1000 no reserve. For every dollar over $1000 you guys 'bid' i will donate 10c to kiwibiker with a reciept from paypal to prove... if that makes sense. Auction finishes on Friday the 11th of January at 8.30pm , or if no bids have been placed by the 9th it will go on trademe instead of lasting another two days

    Ok info about the bike

    1985 (rego'd as an 87) Honda VT250f Integra
    250cc 4 Stroke V Twin
Had a new battery in Feb 07.
Had a new rear tyre in Octoberish 07.
    Wof til 23/04/08
    Reg til 12/02/08
55280 Km (still in use so might be slightly varied0
    Runs on 91 Octane.

    The Bad Stuff:
*Indicator is broken as in pics. I used some rubber glue but that didnt work (was the wrong type of glue i think) Mate's dad suggested putting a rod in it to keep it up like you use to join two pieces of wood, cant remember the term)
*The chain is fully tightened and is a bit slack so that will need replacing in the near future. (Went into the bike store today - these are the cheapest options, Chain 520/104 $44, Front JT Sprocket 283.14 $36, Rear (jt?) sprocket 245/3.45 $50, plus labour.
*Will probably need a new front tyre for WOF in April,
*The clutch is reaching the end of its life and will need replacing soon. it is extremely soft with only working when pulled right the way in.
*A few scratches and what not from over the years.
*Black exhaust pipes colour is wearing away. Will need a recoat with black heat proof paint

All in all it is a great little bike that has served me well. Really good learner bike as it is quite quick being a vtwin.
If you have any questions let me know.

Please dont bid if you dont intend to front up and buy

might as well be honest at the very beginning rather than get caught out later on. most of the fixes are easy and cheap enough just dont have the time and need as much untied down cash as possible if i have to get a loan

not at all eh. i've been living here most of my 17 years of life and you cant tell one maori place name from another. especially as some of them sound so similar but are at other ends of the country and what not.

Cool, I've always wanted one of these, too bad I've just bought a bike! (I've always had a thing for Comstars)
Is this the 40HP model - the quick one with the sick brakes?

Good luck with the sale bro!
    Wear QUASiMOTO !
