This one time at Outward Bound...all my watch mates were getting eaten by mossies, But I wasn't and apparently it was cos they had all eaten bananas for breakfast BUT I had had Marmite toast! Try it it works..those around me bitten to buggery and me only about 5 over the whole 8 days!!!

Finally, a decent thread on an important issue. Marmite all the way, better consistancy, with a more palatable flavour.

That where you're all wrong, you need to get proper Pommie Marmite. That Sanitarium muck has fricken sugar in it....I think it's available in some supermarkets branded as "My Mate" but I goes to an English shop for that, Yorkshire Tea and mushy peas

I am neither for Marmite nor Vegemite.

However, MisterD is correct. NZ Marmite has lots of sugar in it (second listed ingredient so therefore made mostly of it) so would have to lose out against the other.

Anyway, yeast is for poofters.
