Don't worry mate, knocked most of it off last night, editing is all done, just trying to decide what music to add, it's a long video, almost 9 mins!
And thats trimmed from over 30 mins!
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."

Well, here we go, the second video, from Whangamata to Waihi, originally more than 30mins, chopped down to under 9mins. With the camera forward, it was picking up more wind noise instead of engine noise, so I added some music this time.

well a few people have been asking how my hand is, it's all good, the swelling is going down and I can move my thumb again, but I can't straighten it. The doc said I probably dislocated it and won't straighten it again, so no more . I can grab with it, so I can work the throttle and brake on the bike still!
Heres a pic of it yesterday, still got it bandaged for support:

A panadol at night, unless I bump it hard, it doesn't hurt. Just gotta be careful with it, it's still to weak to pick any thing up with it.

hmm... I might need to get me one of those too! Or create some contraption to get a camera on my bike. Friends keep asking me what is like to ride and its so difficult to explain without seeing it for yourself!

i find video doesn't convey it at all....

the only ones to appreciate it are the ones filming it and bikers who were there

best way to show them is take them pillion, or teach 'em and get them to get their licence

Sadly I'm still on my learners (changing it soon!!!!) so video is the best thing I can do at them moment. But I totally agree with you, the only true way to know what riding feels like is to do it!
