Probably...lol. It scares me silly compared to the 400. I've done less than 20kms on it in the past 4 months [it's been sick] so i'll be nervous as hell. Yes, another one for my excuse book.

I'm gonna assume I can find someone else who's driving down & just enter.

Since it's a public road I presume it's rather bumpy so are softish road bike settings the order of the day?

I had a good look at the road a couple of weeks ago and it was suffering from hideous tar bleed and the seal had peeled off in the wheel tracks on a couple of the faster corners, like the first (very fast) right hander.

It's not bumpy per se, but road settings will be fine. Don't worry, I'll be there shitting myself right alongside you.

Went for a ride over it yesterday, the seal was pretty shithouse, the tar looked slippery and sticky, with a bit of sun on it, will be pretty grotty.
Any way anything would be likely to be done to it before the event?? (not necessarily asking you Jim)

I thought you were riding like that to get maximum exposure for your sponsers!! making sure that any logos were seen clearly on the fairings of your bike!!!

My sponsor (Mrs Clivoris) has confirmed postage of my entry form. You'se other 400's can only turn up if you allow me to Armour All your tyres.

My one bag of kitty litter isn't really going to help much.

Had reasonably firm road settings last year and the bike didn't move around to much on the bumps..... But then , I can't ride for sh*t away so I'm the wrong person to be handing out advice. BTW are you having issues with the 748R ?

I'm pretty sure that the surface was going to be redone before the event, but maybe thats happened already?

Lets face it, you have TWO DAYS to sort out your lines/balls/excuses/brolly dollies ... and theres effectively NO-ONE WATCHING. I'm going to suck it up and have a damn good go at this for the above reasons.

...but still shitting myself a little
