Mate, I think it's 1 ego split between the 2 of them. It's an ego that needs 2 bodies to exist.

Speaking of which, I snapped a total of 594 photos on Sunday. If you raced in F3, Formula Paeroa, Sidecars or SuperMoto, chances are I have at least 1 picture with you in it. PM me or post your race number & class in this thread and I'll dig out anything I see.

Here are a couple of shots I took. First one shows Gunner's best result of the day - I had been holding an Umbrella over Troy but got made redundant by this sweet young thing! Second pic is of the "Marty's Boys" pit - shows team boss Sparky Bills contemplating putting Powerade in the tank.

Sadly there's some truth in this. I actually took some shots of back markers because there was a gap between them and the main pack so had some time to get ready for the shot.

I didn't want to creep the girls out any more than my presence normally does. Besides, there were plenty of other pervs who had that market cornered.

Ahhh but in all fairness those back markers are still lapping probably twice as quick as I could do it (probably more!!) so good on 'em for getting out there and doing it !

Oh, and if you're looking at the photos, make sure you download the good ones using the Download button on the right. They're massive and have great detail!
Not a pro. I'm using a 40D with the 17mm-85mm kit lens. Thanks for the compliment.

It was a great day out and I learned a couple of important lessons about shooting motorcycle racing.

Nice camera, and good shooting with that lens.

Looks like you need to clean your sensor. There are spots showing in some pics e.g. 4490

Good spotting (get it? OK. I know that was lame but couldn't help myself). I only noticed that after I uploaded the photos. Dust is such a pain in the butt. I always get photos with dust spots.
