Meanie's Excellent Adventure (22 February)

i dont think your bike likes you.

anyway. you should have carried on. That dizzle on SH41 lasted about 5 mins and it was fucking mint coming down taumaranui side. The others didnt want to stop in TA but we had to pick up tent so we left them at Taumaranui and spent a couple of hours talking to the folks. Then arrived at Ngatea about 15mins after they did.......
The group has disbanded a little today with the loop out of the question, Mrs Cowboyz and I headed back down to TA for a hot spa and fast internet. 86, Sarah, dogs and pheobe all headed towards manawatu. Gsvr headed to Hamilton. Have to see if we all catch up tomorrow but the lunch that was planned is off now so not sure if we will ride back alone or run into the group.
Entertaining weeekend though. At least it is not raining here.

I will get in touch with Meanie or Yod tonight to see what the plan for tomorrow is and Banditrider may possibly come along for a look see, dunno yet. I assume you'll be in contact with that lot too so i'll see you if I see you.
There is a rider down thread on here and I just text Yod and Meanie incase it was one of you lot, I heard back from only to ask if I knew who it was and have'nt heard anything since but cell coverage here is for text only and very patchy, the house line is tied up at the moment

if you find anything out see if you can let me or andrew know somehow. I'll PM you the house number.

goodo Yod is having some issues with the zooki so should be fairly interesting tomorrow. Going to play it by ear cause plans keep changing.

just got back from Manfield & watching superbike qualifing .. well damn its hot here .. have a few issues with betsy's gear lever but all good cable ties are amazing things .. rock on tomorrow for the races .. bugger you guys did not get to do the loop but a ride is a ride huh

Yod's alternator is shot but they've worked out a way to get the bike home ok so that's not so bad, he'll tell you the rest though.

Yeah cable ties are indeed awesome, not quite as awesome as Duct tape (1000 mile an hour tape) but very good.

weather has improved dramatically today. I am in Te Awamutu so not sure what it is still like over in Ngatea but is is kind of pleasent here now. Hope it holds up for the ride home tomorrow

just make sure you take it easy coming home Lance .. the weather is not looking particularly great tomorrow either ..

Never say never .. 29 degrees today in palmy prob closer to 30+ at the track

just make sure you dunna bring it back with you til later tomorrow

after all the racing is finished would be great

my bro is pretty happy sorry .. they desperately needed the rain and now they have it in spades ..

hmm must say long term forcast shows it might be wet for march hare next weekend .. so I guess it will be my turn to be saturated
