Might pay to wait and see what transpires over the next few days. It's quite surprising how these sorts of stories can play out.

I still help old dears cross Remuera Rd and carry their groceries to the car for them if they are struggling. Because it makes me feel good. You should try more of that vibe Mully.
I do that BD, quite regularly (well, not the crossing the road thing, I rarely see that, but the carrying things all the time). Give up my seat on the train, the whole nine yards.
I'm not talking about the sweet little old grandmas (and grandads for that matter), I was talking about about the militant old bats who expect you to jump out of their way quickly or get yelled at. Or the ones with the tiny little dogs which they let sh*t on your front lawn and glare at you when you ask them to clean it up. Or if you are out minding your own business and their little rat tangles it's leash around your legs, it's your fault for standing there. Different sub-group all together.
Disco are you trying the "if I go public then the police will never suspect me" thing????

oh stop apologising - yes, it's true that this incident seems over the top but, equally yes, cyclists can be both arrogant and antagonistic and it stands to reason that, as with all bullies, sooner or later they'll push it with the wrong person...
i was crossing an intersection in perth, with the lights and a great many other pedestrians, a few years ago when one of these lycra-clad, skinny-buttocked, self-righteous hoons came barrelling through, against the lights, scattering young and old alike and telling people to 'get out of the bloody way' when they complained ....... i shoved my umberella thru his spokes ....![]()
was it 'right'? of course not --- but was it effective? yes ........... also quite enjoyable in an evil sort of way [for which i humbly apologise to this forum for admitting]

Jeez mstriumph it's people like you who will get umbrellas banned cause they will be considered weapons.
Well done.![]()

I've got miserly tourettes and I don't give a fuck.
Hey dipshit, before your mouth gets any wider, take a look at this thread to see where motorcyclists in general and me in particular sit on the issue of cyclists
cyclists
Get your motor runnin, head out on the Highway ....
Yep throwing anyone off a bridge is a 'bit' over the top.

I don't think you can judge what "motorcyclists in general" think of cyclists (in general) based on one forum thread.
Me, I don't have an opinion on cyclists in general. Nor on motorcyclists in general, car drivers in general, 63-year old women in general, fat Polynesians in general, or anyone in general.
