We hired a rotary hoe a few weeks ago from McEntee, from memory, it was ~$80 for 24 hours. And you can do a whole lot of hoeing in 24 hours.

And I think they have big brush cutters too.

Roundup is biodegradable... in fact, once it hits the ground, it's done. And it's not volatile. Spray it where you want it, and provided it's calm, there will be no drift. Another helpful tip from your local ag-pilot!!

we live in newlands / paparangi and have a shit load of blackberry and weeds down our bank. we used a combination of pulse / round up and a machete to clear it up. if you do use round up get it from the warehouse its much cheaper then from a garden centre.

Now that's a hard thing to pass up, do you wanna swap, you can have Nigel for a few hours... (he's bloody useless though, he's the one who's meant to keep the gardens tidy!!!)

The guys that came round to give me a quote were about $120 cheaper than the first lot I called, and they started this avo and will finish tomorrow. So all sorted, thanks for the advice and kind offers of tool lending though!! Best of all, I won't have to spend all of easter in the garden, will have to clock some ks on the bike instead, how sad!

There are plenty of tools in Wellywood, most subscribe to KB

Roundup is for amateurs, there are much better products to murder the weeds with
    It is what it is

    Yes dad.
I'm sure there'll be at least one day that will be a bit overcast or a bit breezy.
