My leather pants needed to be lengthened 15cm to bring the knee bit down to where my knee actually is. They were a perfect length standing but sitting on the bike was a different matter.

I've finally discovered cheap skateyiey jeans that drag the cuffs just when I'm walking but could do with an extra 10cm when on the bike.

I think it's just my enormouse muscular thighs.

Ah. Those'll be from trying to start that awful XR thing you've got

I don't need gear, I'm the world's best biker and I normally ride in jandals, boxers and a bathing cap, but what are these kevlar jeans like to wear off the bike? Heavy? Long? Look silly?

Warmer than normal jeans but otherwise they're just jeans.
In winter I wear them under a baggy pair of jeans.

Leave the mighty XR out of this or I'll start talking about the trophy I won and the mods and...

Well they came this morning so it's all good.
The sun was out and a small ride was in order. I threw them on and went out! These are great jeans, the kevlar is soft and pretty unnoticable walking around etc, they have enough to cover knees if your jeans ride up as well. They are pretty much a perfect fit for me. They are a darker blue (denim blue) than shown on the site which was a pleasant suprise for me.

I did about an hours worth of riding on mostly twisty and sweeping corners, I had no problem with movement restrictions, they basically just feel like jeans, nice and cool too! They provided enough cover over my boots to block a lot of the signature "fuck that's hot" blackbird engine

My only gripe is the big fuckoff button at the front that took quite an effort to get in the button hole, but this is obviously so it couldn't possibly come out if you have an off, so it's easy to look past that gripe.

10/10 from zeo, they look great, feel great and the kevlar as well as stitching are of usual quasi quality. Might have to get me a pair of black ones when they're available!

It's easily 25-27c outside and I'm still wearing them, they're just pretty much that comfortable.

    Cheers!

    -very happy zeo

I brought some teknics, and I wouldn't recomend it.

I got a knee down with them and the kevlar seemed to wear out pretty fast.

Plus the kevlar coverage is very bad. Not recomended.

Jeez mate, you're eager! I don't get my knee down at all, but if I did it sure as shit wouldn't be in jeans with no padding over top! (Would hate to think of what loose jeans like the Teknics would be like on the ground, did they catch at all?)
