Just a wee reminder that these rides and any training people are doing are not part of any mentor or training programmes run by kiwibiker.co.nz. So they are the responsibility of those organising the rides and the kiwibiker name should not be used.

Sorry for butting in. Just hearing that some people think this is something officially done by kb.
There are no instructors at all.

    No leadership.

Just good old fashioned personal responsibility by the participants.

There are regular reminders I am not a trained trainer nor am I in charge and that those requiring professional help should seek it.

Would not go as far as never...

See you lot at Albany, should you rabble of leaderless cohorts choose to congregate there without the endorsement of any official whilst fully aware that you participate at your own risk and accept personal responsibility for it.

I have never claimed to be the leader.
Nagash, if you have time can you connect with Frosty re the location and bring us a bit of a report. Making it out West might be a bit of an issue for a few weeks but can be arranged if the arrangements are worth it.

That's actually a good point.. We very rarely have a lead rider when we try and make our way to Albany. Just pot luck that *somebody* knows the way

And yeah sure thing, i'll drop Frosty a Pm and take a quick look-see

OHH FOR FUCK SAKE -- this is PC gone fucken insane.
The point of MT's post is that NO activity of this sort is "official" KB activity.
The KB trackdays are officially "Frostys" track days for this very reason.

By the same account I think its against the law to tout onself as a motorcycle ride instructor without getting the official govimint papers.

+1 The AWNMR that I originally designed, was for more experienced riders to help the less experienced/new riders.

It is only against the law to charge money for 'instructing' without the 'I' endorsement.

I will be at westgate today.

Well what a weird line of events,

I went for a little stroll to WestGate Shell station at roughly 6:30, and all these bikers were there aswell just doing there own thing!

We started talking and roughly, round about 7pm we just sorta headed up Coatseville-Riverhead and got tired so we pulled into Albany for a KFC but decided to just hang around the car park instead.

After a couple of hours of talking piss we all went to the pub and drank some piss, then talked some more piss.

And I have this weird feeling that some of them may or may not have been KB members.. guess i'll never know.

Was a good evening folks, and i'm sure those scratches will buff right out..

    Yes

Bigdog is unable to attend this evening, my rear tire has a flat and I am trying to get something sorted out before this evening!
