By that I'm guessing you mean the Derwent St(SP) lads. Nice to catch up alright. Like Gavens outfit-rough and ready.

An absolutely fun weekend. Caught up with 'ol faces and some new ones too. The mud made for extra antics and a few tents getting wet through from the rain created exta 'bonding'.

You lot should have dragged ya airbed through into our tent for a paddle ! It would have been *all roll over and one went splash* !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

All I heard was alot of giggling, then someone suggesting somebody needed a "big black dog up them".

Around 1200 turned up. Not a bad effort considering the conditions.

I would also like to point out that the food and beverages were very reasonably priced.

umm I think that comment came from the tent next door to you .. as umm the giggling was trying to get them in & turned around .. not being in full control of their limbs & limited room made for interesting gymnastics

Quite ironic really ah. Considering the amount of rain and the fact that there is a river next to the site .

And here I was thinking it was normal. At least the ride in is shorter than the Cold Kiwi. The only issue Gerble had getting out was getting up the slope out in the "play" area. Took three goes but got there in the end.

Brill ride home. Ended up going through Flemington. Nice unsealed stretch thats doable on any road bike.

Milo's trailer setup was a hoot. Especially liked the usage of plastic wrap to catch unsuspecting ralliests(SP) trying to take shortcuts to their tents at night.

Other points of interest were a young lad used a late model gsx250 for firewood haulage. Well done that man. Gerble donated some fuel for the fire then was put to use to jumper a VW powered trike. Oh and lets not forget the BMW that didn't like staying upright and the Busa that was assisted in keeping a straight line by a couple of drunken blokes
