Great places to ride - Coro, Clevedon Routes, Peak Road, SH16 and beyond, SH22 etc, too bad about the traffic ruining the ride tho
Great beaches, especially out West, pity bout all the foreigners taking them over with their fishing rods etc...

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

    Ha....

With 4 million people in a Country just slighty bigger than UK with nigh on 60 million people are you really worried about a few immigrants and their fishing rods...

Traffic on these routes...never a problem...maybe on Bank Holidays but those are not often...anyway, is fun passing traffic...

    My optimisiments to you too...

heh, even The Stranger looks more southern working in the garage than skidmark does working on the farm. There's something about jandals (gumboots for the farm?), stubbies, a singlet under a sweater and a beanie on your (bald) head that really seems better placed on a south island farm than in suburban auckland.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

You have not lived in UK then??

    Some Figs - 2006

    Population

London - Between 2,494 - 10,000 per sq Km from outside in.
Auckland - Average 989 per sq Km

    Area

    London - 1,572 sq Km (Population = 7.52 million)
    Auckland - 16,282 sq Km (Population = 1 million)

Plenty of space to have some space and avoid arrogant people I reckon.

One day you guys will realise how fortunate you are.

I think of it as: I realise how UNFORTUNATE these others are - and sadly don't even realise it.

True but that only works if you also realise how fortunate you are at the same time because for you it is obvious but not for a lot...I moved away from London as I grew up but glad I am in NZ...I remember having to go back for a funeral after only being here 8 months and went to Croydon and was wondering where all these people were coming from...it was scary and after only 8 months...
