Yeah it was all good really until you hit anywhere you have to travel slowly in a straight line.
Needed the suspension backing off too, ended up getting it quite a bit too stiff.

yeah didn't look to comfy..... The RF is all good for us two and heaps of go compared to the Monster so big smiles..

So it was you guys i saw coming into pram (black speed triple heading north) was sorely tempted to turn and follow ya lol but was on a mission to bail a mate out who needed a hand for a bit !

Blue R1, Red, Gold and Carbon F4, my lil green machine, an Orange Speed Triple and a Yellow R1? That would be us. Couldn't hear my bike for all the beautiful racket around me. The R1's sounded completely different from each other, one a single pipe, the other a twin, the Truimph just sounded loud like it should but DAMN the F4 was something else! Even idling it sounded angry and more like a ferrari than a bike

tried the aprilia, it was nice, stable, balanced, good bike

tried the big blue brute....fookin MINT, got 100 yards down the road and thought "sod the aprilia, this is me"

dont even notice the extra weight, feels no heavier than the RF, beautifully smooth and sounds magnificent through micron 4 into 1 (with power commander, and I got the factory exhaust as well, bonus!)...and eeeendless ponies holy sheeeit

Sugilite and I clocked up 550km today, freakin' awesome roads too.
Dannevirke, Pongaroa, Makuri, Pahiatua, Alfredton, Masterton, Rimutaka summit, West lake road, Martinborourgh (i now spelt wrong but I cant be arsed), Masterton, Alfredton, Pongaroa, home.

Bugger I was in the kato .. pearler weather here & all I wanted to be was out on the bike .. however ya dad only turns 80 once huh ..

Yeah weird how it happened ! I would have been on my way to meet Sarge and Sugilite on the takas, but got a text from a mate to help tow a car out of a bog and had just opened a beer at the pub after that mish and you text lol !
Had to go back and have another after that !

Didn't do a hell of a lot really ! they had the fuse out when i got there ! Thing the had us all stumped was the fact it looked ok (other than being a rather large looking fuse !) but there was a little ball of solder on one end (and having done that trick with house fuse wire myself in the past) i twigged that it must be blown and not the bikes original and someone had just done a temp fix (over a year ago before stella bought it)

hmm those temp fixs tend to become permanent ones ..since they tend to work ..

cheers mate, actually, no, it's not that different, feels no heavier even though it is apparently 20kg more, position is very similar, and obviously it's a 4cyl so same kind of power, just a bit more of it, (about 40-50hp i think)

Dont forget Gladstone and the cliff hanger hill climb. Now that was a freaking excellent corner fest, my arms and chest are beginning to feel it though
