When I rode my gf's FXR up from Fielding, I chucked my elbow out and looked under my arm to see what was behind me

    Welcome to KB.

The L-plate will fall off over time. Read the FAQ section and all will be revealed.

Oh boobies are popular here and arses too.
    Welcome to both of you.

Take it easy getting the confidence back Rose. Seems as though when we feel confident we get cocky, then it bites us on the bum. Ride safe.

    cheers

Cheers for all the haere mai's

Finally got the new wing mirror thanks to Phil Turnball's. Grrr to motormart for continously sending me wrong parts. Does that happen often at bike shops or just that one?

Turnball's gave me a courtesy bike while they stripped the bike to get a speedo light bulb in. Woohoo. A Yamaha scorpio 225. fun fun.

Now, on the subject of replacing parts, it seems everything on the FXR is tiny and hard to get at or is does that go for all bikes too?
