20 minutes with squiggles, i'd say 30 minutes but probably take 3 hours seeing as you'd may as well re-seat the valves, replace rings, replace piston for high-compression one, adjust tappets, mod the airbox/intake, build a high-flow high-noise exhaust, fit injectors and supercharge
    Hehe don't forget FCR carbs!!!

I got full set except valve seals and preferbly want to change everything.
adjusting tappets and airbox mod can be done as well

I need to steal Xeresphat's twin side exhaust!!!

Realistically want to change sprokets to get more high-geared setting so that I dont have to shift up whenever I have to turn at lights and sligthly lower revs at 100kmh....

Bleh if you could make them fit, you could have them too lol -- I really want a two-into-one, twin exhausts are weighty and don't sound as nice (to my ear). Look shit hot though, with a high-temp black coating.

In terms of sprockets, be careful. Taller gearing will make it slower to accelerate, and the poor little Ginny (which struggles to get up to 100kph-110kph at the best of times) will really have a hard time getting up there. I know by making my gearing taller it really killed the top-end. I'll be going back to stock.

It is a little irritating having the thing howling up high in the rev range at 100kph, but realistically it's designed to do just that and it's not going to hurt it.

Head and base gasket, and you're coming to make sure we get it perfect. 3 heads over 2. (Oh, and coz i hate doing the tappets)

I initially thought it was just the base gasket, as that's where its leaking oil from. Until he fired it up and it became obvious that the head gasket is blowing.

    So definitely both need doing.

Why are both leaking this early? Was the whole lot not torqued up properly?

LOL, last night banzai seemed to think that was sort of job that needed doing

("3 heads over two", an extension of "two heads is better than one")

Why'd you get one from japan? Don't they just take an H4?

They're common as bulbs, most older japanese cars use em. Cheap as chips too if you shop around.
