Great ride. It was so much better to get out for a ride rather than doing house work on Saturday.
Don't mind it being a bit wet or cold, hell it is winter. Got very wet riding home after the event had ended.
Is this going to be a regular event? I hope so.
Great to put a few more faces to names.

Same, I made squishy sounds walking around in my boots. Managed to soil quite a bit of the flat before I managed to extract myself from my wets.

If we're going to have regular rides in this kind of weather I'm going to need some proper wet weather riding gear

You live in Christchurch without decent wet weather gear .... would have thought that was essential.

I think Mikkel just wanted to rde his new Supermoto, he would've still been there if it was snowing

I'm sure it rains less here than in both Auckland and Wellington. But as D said - it's the cold really.

I do have a decent rain oversuit - I'm just lacking waterproof boots and gloves.

Glad to hear it, yeah these roads are alot nice on a sunny day though that is for sure.

Yeah always good to keep it shiny side up, last thing we needed on a fundraiser day for the helicopter was to need it!
