only thing wrong was clutch and throttle cable adjustment - needs new rear tyre too

the bike checked out 100% ok, only a slight mark on the tail and a light dent on the muffler (bugger i forgot to check the steering bearings)

no rust, flys straight, all suspension/brakes etc works well, engine of course is fine, gearbox is smooth, starts cold no sweat, all lights etc work

could do with a tacho though.... ross may be able to help there as i see he got a digital one rigged up on his.

seller is a car importer who had some spare space in a container - he's got a few bikes including a mint looking VFR800 and TL1000S AND an older model burgman!

deal is for $3,500 fully road legal with plates etc. already has VIN plate.

to be picked up once it's all been paid for in a few weeks time.

(sorry zim i had to tell 'em as this thread has gone on long enough!)

hahaha....... bad boy!!! baadd boy! haha. it's cool buddy. some closure to the record thread is needed too.. haha.

besides, al the kwakkas need is a good visit to teh mech, and a regular "sheck up". the blowing up is part of the "extra servce" kawasaki have to offer... it's kinda like the surprise in the birthday cake (only the surprise isn't a stripper of your own (completely HIV free), more a bang and you're now broke.... haha. but it's still a surprise!

can't imagine how the parents will take to it... not gonna be pretty.... haha, thanks kyle for "voulanteering" (ahem ahem), to house teh bike for me while i find a good time to break the news to them

hey, thanks all, this forum has been awesome help!

how can studylink possibly need to ask for a few days?

tell them to f**k off and pay you

it could well be your rent/food money they're denying you (actually happened to a mate of mine, he went completely broke and had to go back home asking for money while studylink dicked him around)
