Hell this is an old thread.

No-one has mentioned the Conan movies - always good for a laugh. And Red Sonya, same sort of thing. Excellent.

And oddly enough these were missing:

    Buckaroo Banzai
    Black Moon Rising

    ...classic sci-fi crapola

Oh, and Iron Eagle 1, 2, 3, etc...

what amazing is some cool 80's movies you watch now days, do seam very budget comapred to moden stuff, and not as good as you remember

But i think some of that is due to moden movies with all special effects to make it flashy, and older movies don't really have this as.

aka watched the mad max series on c4 month or so ago, good movies, but seam very small budget movies, but were big movies of the time.

I'm suprised that no John Carpenter films have been mentioned, he was the king of B-Grade movies

    They Live (1988)
    Prince of Darkness (1987)
Big Trouble in Little China (1986)
    Starman (1984)
    Christine (1983)
    The Thing (1982)
    Escape from New York (1981)
    The Fog (1980)

Unfortunately 'Assault on Precinct 13' came out in the 70's, but how could no one have mentioned 'They Live' starring Rowdy Roddy Piper?

on that note, I can't remember if it's early 90's or late 80's, but 'meet the feebles' is wicked!

EDIT: 1989 according to the net

Indy, you should broaden your horizons.

    Start looking back further.
There is a pre CGI hokey-ness index stretching back to the 50s that is always good for a PT.

I know it got mentioned earlier, but this one will definitely impress your friends.

    Buckeroo Banzai

"Buckaroo Banzai is the lead character, played by Peter Weller, of the eponymous 1984 cult film, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension. A renaissance man, the character is a top neurosurgeon, particle physicist, race car driver, rock star and comic book hero, and in the film, probably the last hope of the human race. In the film, his latest experiments open the door to the 8th dimension and unwittingly start an interplanetary battle for the world."

    80s films rock
