That would be great - but TV don't do free stuff!! It costs truck loads to put on TV- although if you were an ex-all black or an all black on holiday, it would be fine!! Sucks!! Whatever happened to that thread/website that you had to post in for wanting more motorsport on TV??
I agree with you Koba, the racing is really exciting to watch, and if it was on more, then I'm sure we'd get more and more airtime, more sponsors, better events........................
Is it still beastiality if ya fuck a frozen chicken??
i'll hopefully have a camera on the bike so i could put it on after the streetstock racing if you wanted, might not be exciting
S-video's probably the way to go for extension cords.
You can buy little wireless security camera's what would be quite cool, could have em static and then just switch between em. *Cough* Vic club *Cough*
i can get a few more cameras for the bikes if some people are willing to pay $215 each ready to go
they are run out models. i am bringing one to the next round of buckets i have got it mounted on the bars at the moment, but will probably put it on the tank before then. they have got a mount for a push bike helmet, shoulder, handle bars and a few other things. im going to have a bit of a play with it at the buckets.
i was thinking the wireless cameras might be the way to go, i could purchase some, just depends on quality i guess and range/interferance would onlyneed two cameras!!
You'll also need the associated gear (tripods etc) and someone suitable skilled to operate the things too. Not trying to shoot the idea down, i think it's awesome, but if it's gonna be done might as well do it right.
Perhaps approach a broadcasting company and ask them what they would do in the situation, or if they could perhaps do it for free?
KiwiBitcher
where opinion holds more weight than fact.
It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
What about getting in touch with Steve from Kiwi Track Days, he's a freelance camera guy for telly I think. He'd be a useful guy to get some tips or advice from.
Ed, talk to Neil Martin, he knows all about this sorta shit.
He ran a wireless camera from his bike back to his bike all last season. Got some great footage of Jamie McNair tossing his bike into the scenery while leading the race last year too.![]()
Vote David Bain for MNZ president
Hey guys this sounds like an awesome idea, what about approaching a college of some sort that runs a course on this stuff ? They may have students that could come out and film just like work experience really.
