I wonder if the weather will be fine in time for work on Monday?

Ha ha. I might just f^&&kn do the ride anyway as I've had a hell of a week and need some fresh air - but will let you guys know tomorrow morning officially on this thread.

Unfortunately my US-ordered Radar dectector parts haven't arrived yet, so will have to watch it on the Motorway and Hauraki Plains...

As for the BBQ - if the weather is shit, this will be postponed.

I'm keen for that! I've done part of the Coro once before but that was in the dry, I wouldn't want to do it in the wet with my current wet riding confidence.

Cops stole my license for 28 days today so won't be able to take this ride now!

Will change the reason for tomorrow's celebration to:

Managed to go 7 years without losing my license!!

As previously mentioned, will let you guys know tomorrow if the BBQ is still on.

I'm sure cops today were having bad day...

I don't want to take motorway for several personal reasons atm too..

But people who wanna go scenic drive do come along 9am at Uni gym!!! Perhaps take the normal way to get to Scenic Drive?

I think I might pass, simply cause of work till 12, new to learning, and bike acted up again tonight after the AGM.

Ironic that its acted up 3 times, and each time its been the same person who was there...... starting to get suspicious

Scenic drive (to Piha Beach, may aswell stop at the beach..) from Titirangi is 23.5 km. It's quite short but it's a pretty good stretch of road, quite high speed at some points but more then enough tight twisties to keep people interested.

It's a really good one for newer riders aswell.. (And I live on Scenic Drive) so if you're keen to go for a quick blat and not do the whole coro loop, i'd be keen to join you guys on a Scenic Drive ride.

Bad luck dude, why didn't you wait until your radar detector arrived before you did anything silly?

I thought Scenic Drive isn't so good for noobs? I haven't ridden it but I've read on here that there are drivers pulling out of driveways or stopping in the middle of the road around blind corners?
