    As it turns out the people on KB that I've wanted to fuck off are immune to my assaults. Regrettably I have pissed off some people whose contributions I respect, which was never my intention. Such is life. And this, after all is just the Internet...

    It's actually quite common for people to get offended by the most inoccuous remark by email or on a forum like this. the main reason is that a large %age of communication is missing. Tone and facial expression tell us more than many words do about the way things are intended. These two facets are missing when communicating solely by the written word. I get it all the time because I'm trying to be funny. A lot of the time people don't realise I'm using sarcasm or metephors.

    This is why I say "Aren't forums fun"

    I even got accused of being defensive when I was being explanatory :
