Finally, a Cold Kiwi, actual frost on everything. Was beginning to think they'd have to change the name to "Mild Kiwi" or "Quite-nice-for-this-time-of-year-actually Kiwi".

Great to catch up with those I'd met before and meet a few others - such as the 007s, Gunnyrob and doc.

Had a fantastic ride down through Mangakino and the Western Access, had a brilliant fail riding the track into the site when I decided to cut across the grass and up a hill, throttled off and stalled the bike half way up. Kept sliding backwards when I tried to get the bike into neutral (fucking neutral "safety" switches!) and "Shiny side up" had to stop and rescue my bike.

But the old XT ran superbly there and back and we had two great riding days with a great social event sandwiched in between.
    Motorbike Camping for the win!

    Noobe Biker Survives

What a fantastic weekend away with my girls.
Lyd did an awesome job riding all the way down and back with less than 2 hrs open road riding and all of that at night. One proud dad I am.
Heading home on Sunday the number of other bikers that gave her the thumbs up as they passed us really made her day and mine.
She had a couple of oops one taking off from a service station letting the clutch out too fast and down she went and the other almost home just too exhausted going around a 25kph corner and down she went, not hurt only her pride and a busted indicator. Couldn't wake her today so left her to sleep. One gutsy girl that one

    Aaron L Plate Duc

    Picture worth a thousand words

After dueling with a possum and having to buy another Duc in Hamilton the bike decided that 70kph was all that it wanted to do.... all the way down to the Kiwi.

Mates being mates borrowed Lyd's L Plate band attached it to the slow Duc, they said that it may as well have the plate as that was as fast as it would go. Aaron was not impressed and wont be seeing the pic posted here
So if you happen to know him give him heaps

watched your movie, also good work.

not sure about the totally gay weenie action though mate, you had about 500 bikers calling you fags, and about 5 wanking. that 5 have probably downloaded the weenie action for there personal collection.
