I've got the bot (again). Should I be going go-carting tonight or tucking myself up in bed and trying to kill the bug so I can ride on Friday night (and Saturday)?

If you're asking you're good enough to go. Enjoy the moment. Sickie Tomorrow.

I'm heading through to Havelock North Friday evening then on to Auckland on Sunday. Was going to be leaving Palmy around 5:30 so will call by Ashurst and head over the saddle with you guys. I'll probably head up SH50 for a change.

Sunday I'm thinking SH5 and SH27. I'll have most of the afternoon and the benefit of daylight saving so I'm open to suggestions.

Don't think there'll be time for East Cape on this trip. I finish up at Whenuapai around 1pm Wednesday so only have the afternoon and evening to get home. I need to be fit for flying the following morning

Was thinking about coming down through Raetihi and SH4 so the forgotten highway might fit in. It's mostly SH43 (I think). What's the road through Ohura like?

mint. but pretty slow. last time we came through there we had goats/sheep/lambs. Pretty nerve racking if you are trying to go quick.

Ever been down fields track? thats an interesting piece of scenery (and note, its called fields track not fields road)
