    True that, but...

If we are going to spend any money improving things like that it will be to get gas hotwater, mains pressure, bliss a proper shower. I LOVE going places where there is pressure. The camp we stay at in summer has the meanest pressure, you are limited to 5 mins which is enough for me (the kids hate it ) the difference good pressure makes can not be explained to a bloke with next to no hair to wash. (apologies for any offense caused, I was actually referring to my lovely hubby, not you here )

Cool, I am going to join the shower police! Popping up in a shower near you to measure your flow rate! "Scuse me ma'am, don't want to rain on your parade but.......oops, you've dropped the soap!"

If ya green enough, and standing still enough, they're more likely to pee on ya, than hug ya...

I dont know what you "derestricted", but flow restricters are found at the boundry, just inside the Toby valve, and made of Brass. Most rural water scheme's have serious penaltys for removing those... Pressure reducers, also should not be touched. They can cause serious problems (leaks) to entire low pressure systems. Make sure you know the difference... I've installed plenty of both.

Yea fuck em - I am getting a lil sick of these pricks telling me what to do all the time. The really queer thing is - we all collectively pay these wankers salaries. I hate those narrow minded socialist politicians!

True, true......you WILL have double glazing, you WILL have your shower flow restricted, you WILL pay a higher rate of power if you do not have a hot water cylinder, you WILL bend over and take it and what's more, you'll like it!

It's true that they're the worst polluters, but we need to set an example or they can easily say the exact same thing about us. It's just lazy to pass responsibility onto others anyway.

I'm not green by any means. I still ride 2 stroke dirt bikes whenever I get the chance. Like to think I'm better than most people being environmentally conscious though, like throwing stuff in the bin rather than the gutter and not getting every single Ipod that's released.

ohh, plus decontamination showers, lol, 20L/M at 700 kpa, get hold of one of those, your own personal standpipe key and bar, a length of hose, a portable pump and you can beat the system! (may not be suitable on a cold winters morning!)
