    WIMA ride.

Wow it was a fabulous day for the WIMA pink ribbon ride.
We met bright and early (even 86 ) at Summer hill (where was all the pink guys? ), followed `Head Fairy' at a nice pace and picked up Rottiguy at Shannon and headed for Latte's in Otaki where we met Sinfull, Heidi and friends. 86 took us into Wellington and we arrived in time for the briefing (we followed him even though he would'nt wear the `wings' ).
Beautiful day for a cruise around the bays .....very picturesque, lovely calm sea...lots of pink things on bikes. On return they drew raffles and certain jammy people won very nice prizes!!
We split up for the return trip ...one lot off to coffee and pitstop and the other did their favourtie `twisty`hill. Met up again in Waikanae then pootled off home.
Lovely day for a good cause...good company...nice bikes.....

Oh dear, another sad little post from the man who thinks sarcasm is wit.

Yip. You've seemed to have gotten the hang of the Buell The engraving Gary made for you was a nice touch.

Yeah great day for it ! Good to hook up with you lot, (definately need to upgrade Heidis' bike soon) Had a slow tour home till we stopped in pukerua bay ! the girls carried on and sloped off to the winemakers daughter for a couple, so smiles and i blew out a few cobwebs on the way home !
Bit of video footage to come (once i figure out how to dub from mini tape to pc rrrr)
Weekend talley ---- 2 hangovers, 2 rides, one broken clutch lever, one broken indicator, low on oil, low on cash, low on energy !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Yes it was an awesome day yesterday.
Great company, also a big thanks to Al for letting Pauly give the Daytona a run, was great to have him out riding with us.

Not sure why none of the guys would pass me, they tell me it was the wings, but I think they were using me as the radar detector.
But all good, only saw one and that was on way home, and we were just pootling along so no dramas.

Fab ride around the bays, didnt know half of that even existed.
I won some Alpinestar gloves (funny enough the ones I had been looking at buying).

Thanks to all for the great company, ride and laughs. Can't wait to do it again soon

Yep was a premo day and found a new twisty road that looks like fun, great to ride in a group again and we sure got some funny looks from people when we went around the bays in welly with some of the pinko riders
Still got quite a bit of work to do to keep up with the tiger but awesome to be out in the sun. Roll on summer

minor fuse problem. Just a hassle and far away from home. Would say it would never happen to a green one but not near enough wood.

    Triumphs can't be killed Bonez

My workmate bought a bike on the weekend. Got it home and found it contained no oil or coolant. Good thing it was a dirtbike and transported home on the back of a ute.

Was wondering the same thing myself bonez, it would appear someone still has a vandetta against some of us, and i am not pointing the finger at Chancey
Sarah is fine although a little pissed off. Her bike lost power at the bottom of the rimutakas, Welly side as we were about to head over. It appears there is something wrong with the alternator and its charging too much, metled the fuse. She called SOS recovery to pick her bike up and it took 4 hours by the time her bike was on the trailor and we were heading home. Long story.
So we sat on the bottom of the takas watching the bikes go over the hill and back again, Thank god it was a nice day and i had good company or i may have lost my hair
