    Dodgy geezers casing our house?

How curious. We just had a guy knock at the door and ask if we had any work. Like, sorting out the garden and what have you. He said he was doing some work around here.

He was in a van, I think with a mate. (RL4763 - white)

So, not that I'm accusing KB'ers of fraternising with the dodgier parts of NZ society, but does this seem like a standard pre-house clearing strategy to you?

Could very likely be dodgy (re number plate thing), however it could be some motivated fellas who actually want to work for their money?
Had a couple of big Samoan/Tongan something fellas knock on my door asking about odd jobs a while back, I took them for being genuine and said yep come back and do our gardens, they started that day, came back the next day and finished the job, did a good job, didn't steal anything, cleaned up after themselves, I paid them and they buggered off. End of story.

Read in the NSTimes a while back this method being used to identify targets. They were using the stump grinding 'cover'.

Usual story - you want something done well and with 'less' exposure to risk - call a proper company - not a couple of blokes that come knocking at your door.

Big Samoan/Tongan guys sounds about right. My 'WTF radar' wouldn't have twigged if he'd gone down the road knocking on *everyone's* door though.

Ahhhhh, shit. Guess it's time to finally do that offsite backup.

Surely it's no harm in letting the rozzers know just in case, particularly if the rego plate seems dodgy.

EDIT: Gah! Beaten my a matter of seconds.

If they were the Tuigamala brothers it's all good.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

D'you know if they have an email address for such things? I can live without actually physically walking into a Police station, giving a statement, all that blah blah blah.

I'd rather lock up my mates dobberman indoors for a few days without feeding him. Im sure a nice bit of coco-kfc will keep him happy when it comes crashing through a broken window.

Oh, and invest in a nice cattle prod.

Fuck that... too much mess. Couple of C02 bottles, a solenoid, a PIR and some deadbolts. Nigger comes in. Nigger gets suffocated. RantyDave pushes nigger off a wharf in cement boots.
