I think he was just meaning 'scenic' as in a slower paced group.

well i guess we can set the exact route a lil later on but right now im thinkin the whole loop with only the required petrol stops and one food stop or we wont make it back till late....i mean if we leave uni at 9.30 and have minimal stops, we should be back around 4.30ish

the thing that usually slows us down is that people get lost or separated and this causes confusion and leads to waiting around.....i dont know why we stopped using the conventional method of 1 leader, 2nd rider stops at any turn offs and waits for tec to go by.....

speaking of which, im keen to lead the slow pack.....will need leader for the other pack and tec's for the two groups....preferrably experienced riders on bigger bikes.....no point sticking banzai as tec coz if anything happens the chances of him catching up on his gn are......nuff said.....sorry to pick on you yui but i was just using you as an example......

oh and banzai sorri i didnt reply before but i was at the gym and didnt get your text till a lil bit later....no i dont have the spare key. me n my bro have the exact same disc lock so we kept a copy of each key with us in case we took the other's lock.....a key which has now been lost by my brother......moral of story: dont lose key or your gn will be transformed into an expensive paper weight

I've also always wondered why everyone is so keen to be TEC of the 'slow' group...

I thought it would be nice to have people to have a photo of their own in action. Sertainly not a bin one like me.

Whenever I took those photos and showed to the ones, no one complained.

    It was an idea...

i sometimes volunteer if im not in the mood for a thrash....also is a good opportunity to lag back and work on your own line....i mean you're not exactly going to follow the line of the guy tailing the slow group

Shouldn't you always be? Why's it called the 'slow' group though, in my experience they tend to end up ahead of the 'fast' group sooner or later

What's up with you bro! To give a helping hand just like the club president has done many times in the past. Sometimes it's nice not to have to worry about what the person behind you is doing too.

well i use the slow time to learn to pick lines at an easy pace and when im not in slow pack i put it to practice at greater speeds.....

lol i agree with you on the second part though....i remember one ride where i was tec for "fast" pack and a biker i wont name held us back so much that the slow pack (led by you, genghis) caught up.....think that was the ride ehab had his first crash.....

I'm picking at the 'slow' part, not the tec part

    Oh...

Well it's safer to divide the groups into 'slow' and 'fast' based not only on bike cc but greatly experience, than it is to ride in one big group with a mix of speeds, experience, and attitudes

I'm sure you could let him know on the day, a minute before the ride.
