Wanaka to queenstown is the best direction to go. Great ride ! Not bad the other way also. Photo op at the cadarona hotel.

Nice pic, have one similar, but with a plane approaching the airport, great view when landing in Queenstown on a fine day.

Allow a day or so around Arrowtown/Queenstown/Wanaka areas.

Nice places to sight see & all but full of pretentious wankers (not the actual people that live there though), each to their own.
It's all about the ride for me I'm afraid And maybe the odd photo opp !!!

It's just not the same - 5 minutes in a Taxi, pitch the tent...drink piss...sleep in tent....wake up cold....call a cab and sleep it off.....come back in the morning and pack up tent.

It seems an awful lot of trouble just for a badge

One month to go, so who is going down and what days? We intend to head down slowly over a couple of days if anyone is head through CHCH that we can tag along with.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
