Well I got my bike back from TripleFourensics yesterday and it's like a new bike. I spent most of the day there learning things about my bike, while it was being finished and came away with some handy tips.
It really gets off its arse now, almost too easily, which might explain my $230 infringement notice while overtaking in a passing lane. I knew I was pushing my luck on the main highway, but I couldn't help myself, as it really does go that well. Nice , biker too, possibly thought I was a little nuts, because I couldn't stop grinning as he was issuing the ticket. I'll call it grin factor plus!
I even have brakes now that I don't have to pump, though they are destined to fail within the next 5000km. With luck there'll be a permanent fix on the horizon. Still getting used to these, as I'm finding them twitchy, though they are only working as they should.
Nice little touches to the bike also and it's good to know that Kerry will fix where Ferris has fiddled. Nah not really, although my auto-electrical skills leave a little to be desired.
Overall a fantastic experience and I'm looking forward to going back and spending more money. That would be a first!
Another first was actually hearing what my bike sounds like at a distance, cause I've always been on it. It's sounds fucken awesome!
I can't wait till my next ride, so I'll probably see you guy's on Friday night! Here's to good weather!

Any excuse to ride to Opunake is a good one, next time you head out that way, turn at Waihi Rd intersection heading to NP go through Normanby, about 5km turn left onto Skeet Rd and stay on it,turn right at Skeet and Manaia Rd(Kapuni store corner),turn left at Kaponga and enjoy the road, turn right at Patiki Rd onto left at Opunake Rd,right at Wiremu,Opunake,Oeo crossroads go along to Ihaia Rd turn left and straight to Kerry's place.

Right that settles it my 955 is next on his list i feel ! Though it will be going up in a van, as all the road gear will be stripped off this week, clip ons should be on b4 the 7 dec track day and i think a kerry tweek and tune boy could well be in order after that one !
Now who has a fairing that i may be able to bodgy on to it lol meh who needs fairings ?
Crash bungs haha now i might well need crash bungs !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I am worse than a nana on it & dunno that I would ever feel confident about doing the gravel epic journeys that you do but give me a couple hundy meters & I won't quite fall apart

I'll keep it short and say I was stunned but in a good way about the get together last and would like express sincere gratitude for all those how came along last night and to those who could'nt come also.
I normally go to great lengths to avoid a fuss on my birthday's but I must say I really enjoyed the night and the pleasure of the company, outstanding!!
A special thank you to those people who prepared what was another awesome feast and those who put the time planning the festivities, you all kept the secret very well.
I'll admit there way a couple of times I had put an effort into not getting all misty eyed!
There was so much that was done for me last night and i'm really humbled to know that i've found such a great bunch of people to call friends.

    By the way,
Lemon icing on banana cake rock's, thanks so much Mrs Cowboyz.
I slept well on a comfy bed, cheers M and M.
and last but by no means least... It's already hanging on the wall mate. (RGVRider)
