I know! If it wasn't for our stunning good looks we'd be farked.

    (or not )

I reckon guys have a genetic predisposition to non-planning. It's just more natural to just make it up as you go for us...

Women have a much greater need to plan. They have to get the eggs, turn on the pan, fry them just how we like them.....

(actually I do all the breakfast cooking in my house haha)

it may be difficult to understand, but often we are busy people with heavy demands on our time, that require prioritising... I know, its hard to understand with ya being a woman and everything... lets just say things come up that we have to sort out

now... how much do I value my life vs a ride

Alright people, I, too, have decided I want to organise a ride on Saturday. It's in the same general direction -- Cape Reinga. Just a little bit further north from where you guys are planning to go, except it won't loop -- we'll carry on and come home the next day on Sunday.

I'm sorry about the time clash, it's just we're limited to what days we can go as we're intercepting an international visitor at Kerikeri to pillion around before she moves on.

Would anybody be interested in turning their one-day Northland loop (boring! ) into a two-day Cape Reinga adventure (this one is much cooler!)?

    Dammit, women wreck EVERYTHING!

Because of women, a mate HAD to get married and have his stag do this weekend.

    a) no Taupo Lake challenge this year for me
    b) no 600km ride this weekend for me

All ye damsels and ye gentlemen, leave the drinking to us this Saturday whilst ye be riding ye magnificent steeds!

May the God that provideth rain yesterday provide ye much sun and hot dry asphalt for tyre stickiness for g-hard progress betwixt Auckland and Auckland...
